Project Ogee – Phase 2: The Reno (Part 1)
Last year, sometime towards end of August, we put pen to paper sealing a deal for the purchase of our new home. This comes after a series of house hunting which we had done parallely with the selling of our old flat. We had shortlisted a few units in Tampines area, and eventually found the one we both mutually like.
Needless to say, the unit we chose isn’t our first choice. It would have...

Numero Quatro Week 38: Of kicks and contractions
For those who haven’t known, I’m already into my 38+ week pregnancy with my fourth child. I have been updating twitter since my second trimester, and only more recently on Facebook.
I have this sad case of not constantly updating my blog with my pregnancy updates, let it be from my first up to my current one. If you select “pregnancy” under my blog category section,...

Suu.Chic.Baby Online Store
My girlfriends, Ria and Sue, are embarking on a new project called Suu.Chic.Baby, an online shop showcasing chic and fashionable line of clothing, brought in from the USA, for baby girls and boys. These items are perfect for Christmas gifts, Birthdays and even Baby showers! My personal favourite is their Mudpie Baby Buds and Gifted Initials Tote (see pictures) Mudpie Baby Buds Gifted Initials...

IQ Test.
I took an IQ Test on Facebook and got a result of 197. Apparently I beat Albert Einstein AND Bill Gates. (o_O)
So smart, huh? For REAL OR NOT?!

Cheers to five.
Dear P, Today marks 5 years since we’ve been married, and 13 years since I’ve known you. This is to thank you for all these years. I appreciate the sacrifices you make that allows us to go this far. I’m grateful to the One above to be truly blessed with this family that we’ve built, to be thankful for the walks of life we’ve traveled together no matter how rough or...

Torn I am.
Have you ever had that butterfly-in-your-tummy feeling when you’re caught in a situation where you needed to make a decision but you do not have enough time to really sit and consider, yet you set out to (or about to) make that decision anyway, even though you’re bound with uncertainty that down the long winding road that you’re taking, you’re going to regret or be...

Domestic Dilemma
A couple of years ago, the thought of us engaging the services of a domestic helper did cross our minds, but we always ended up debating (one time too many) whether or not we *really* needed one. At that time, we only had Misha to look after. Although we weren’t financially tied down, we figured we could still work it out ourselves. (‘It’ being the day-to-day household chores and...

Third quarter review
Eight months ago, when I laid out my objectives for the year, things seemed to look pretty much achievable. Somehow I managed to keep them on track to a certain extent. Now, looking at my list again, it really saddens me that the things I had aimed for to get done (or at least still be doing) have not somehow materialized. Let’s recap: - I hope to better manage my monies as compared to...

Tumblayout
Somehow Prologue theme does not work on my blackberry mobile. No text is visible which I suspect could’ve caused by the hidden info section. Strangely enough, I’m able to view Misha’s, Mika’s and Anaqi’s Tumblelogs (all having the same theme) without any problems *scratch head*
I might just give my current theme a change.
Edited: After several searches and trials,...

Raya 2009 Preps.
This year’s Raya is going to be pretty low-key due to, err, financial constraints. The *only* thing *new* that we bought would probably be our first day Raya outfit (we bought a family set in purple). I was thinking of reusing most of last year’s stuff (curtains, wall colours, black/red outfit etc…).
Now the main thing I need to do is, to find time to spring-clean our home....

Prep for Mika.
Registration - check.
Fees and payment - check.
Buy uniforms and P.E shirts/shorts - check.
I’m all so excited that Mika will be starting school (full day childcare rather) in two weeks! I’m preparing him at home - eating by himself, napping at 1pm, etc - so that he’ll get adjusted when he starts his daycare activities at the centre beginning 3rd August.

Smartphones
All these talk about Smartphones makes me want to get one for myself, heh. With all the advance features they have, it makes life more convinient especially for someone who spends most of their time on computers (like me). Plus, they’re like the in-thing to have nowadays. Perhaps I should start scouting for one, now that my Sony Ericsson Walkman phone has past its 4-year mark, and has been...

Theme
I’m in love with my current Tumblr theme (Prologue by Hayden Hunter). Simple and clean-cut. But my posts lack the comments link as opposed to the example layout of the same theme. Am I missing something here?
edited: Finally able to sort out the ‘comments’ link. But am still missing the ‘Notes’ link. Hmm.
re-edited: Notes link is now fixed.

Welcome, aprima!
Hah, I just broke my virgin tumblr wall. Still contemplating whether to move all of my LJ posts here. Since the import feature is still not yet available, I’ll just let it be as it is for now.
